VeriProx Biometric

The Veriprox, combined biometric and proximity reader, prevents unauthorised access via lost, borrowed or stolen proximity cards by requiring a fingerprint of the person seeking entry, matching the identity of the cardholder.

This two-in-one solution combines a self-contained fingerprint verification package with an embedded proximity card reader. The two technologies are housed together in a modern casing that can be mullion mounted.

Suitable for both standalone and network use, the VeriProx eliminates the need to issue new cards because it works with existing proximity cards. It is ideal for retro-fitting existing systems or simply adding a reliable biometric security technology to a location that requires heightened security.

The VeriProx is able to recognise fingerprints even on swollen, aged, dirty, scarred or cut fingers, making it an ideal choice for factories, construction sites and similar environments that have previously been unable to implement biometric based access solutions.
